My name is Shapoor Shayegani. I have studied Medicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. I also have a Master degree in Health Informatics from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Health Informatics is "The science that studies the use and processing of data, information, and knowledge applied to medicine, health care and public health." (Bemmel and Musen)

Currently, I work as a Data Standards Lead for Alberta Health Services, and live in Victoria, British Columbia, one of the most beautiful places on earth.
